General Security Awareness Training (GSAT)

General Security Awareness Training (GSAT) meets the requirements as set out in DfT TRANSEC in accordance with EU-OPS, ICAO, ICAO Annex 17 to the Chicago Convention, EC-regulations and ECAC recommendations.

 

This course is designed for:

Ground staff and all other staff which requires identity pass to the restricted zone (RZ).

 

This course is divided into 5 sections: 

• Threat to Aviation
• Objectives and Organisation of Aviation Security
• Restricted Zone Protection and Access Control
• Prohibited Articles
• The Trainee’s Role In Aviation Security

 

After the final skill test is successfully passed a certificate will be sent to the training organization or the individual user.
