Food safety is designed in accordance with the EU directive “REGULATION (EC) No 852/2004 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 29 April 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs”
The course is available as a web-based program before practical, recurrent training. Food Safety is a scientific discipline describing handling, preparation and storage of food in ways that prevent foodborne illness. The main objective of the course is to guarantee that crew possess adequate knowledge of how to handle food and personal hygiene and to know how to act when someone gets a food poisoning. Crew will be able to make the right decision how to handle food and personal hygiene.
