Performance-Based Communications and Surveillance (PBCS) is a framework intended to provide an objective method of evaluating the existing and emerging communications and surveillance methods that support air traffic management (ATM) operations. The main goal of the PBCS system is to allow for improved security standards and more efficient airspace use. All operators wishing to be involved in the NAT High-Level Airspace are required to comply with the PBCS specifications.
Scandlearn has extended its course portfolio to include the PBCS training in order to help the flight crew familiarize with the concept. Our course explores the framework to the finest detail and provides exhaustive information on each of the underlying procedures. To deliver the highest quality of training, we are systematically updating the course content to make it compliant with the latest ICAO, FAA, and EASA regulations.
