Air Systems 
Maintaining essential conditions for comfortable travel aboard the aircraft, the Air Systems of the 737NG has a number of controls that allow flight crews to precisely manage the cabin. This system relies heavily on bleed air for air conditioning and pressurization of both the flight deck and other parts of the cabin.
Electrics 
The 737NG is powered by two engine-driven generators (IDGs) and an APU generator. Backup power comes from a ram air turbine (RAT) and batteries. Two transformer-rectifiers supply 28V DC for avionics and emergency systems. The system features automatic load shedding, bus-tie controls for redundancy, and ground power compatibility. Designed for reliability, it ensures uninterrupted operation even during single-generator failure.
Fuel System 
Pumping, managing and delivering fuel to the propulsion system and APU through a complex configuration is the robust fuel system of the 737NG. Three separate tanks supply the aircraft with over 26,000L of fuel which is pumped via dual AC-powered boost pumps, allowing it to stay in the air for up to 7 hours.
Hydraulics 
Moving the heavy control surfaces of the 737NG is a powerful and complex hydraulic system. Encompassing two main systems and a back-up, the hydraulic system provides important power to numerous other key systems, including the landing gear, autopilot, and of course, the multiple control surfaces that allow a pilot to adjust the flight attitude of an aircraft.
