We're changing the way that training
3D characters come to Scandlearn
We're pushing the aviation training experience to the next level (again) with the introduction of fully animated 3D versions of our popular crew characters.

From boring to brilliant
At Scandlearn, we believe serious training doesn’t have to feel flat. That’s why we’re blending the best of 2D and 3D—using each where it fits best. From story-driven cut scenes to sharp explainers, every format is chosen with intent.
Built to engage. Designed to stick.
Why we made the shift
- 01 MORE EMOTION
- 02 REAL CONNECTION
- 03 BETTER RETENTION

Explore how these characters reflect the dynamic challenges your crew face daily—and how they make learning stick.
Meet the crew
More emotion.
Better retention.
Real connection.
In the digital age... online training has become the norm. But in the race for cost-efficiency, quality often takes a back seat. We forget there’s a real person on the other side of the screen—someone who learns best through emotion, relevance, and connection.
For years, Capt. Carl and his crew have guided learners through complex scenarios in a semi-realistic 2D world. But aviation has evolved—and so should training.
That’s why we’ve reimagined our iconic characters in full 3D, unlocking a new dimension of human-centred storytelling and engagement.

Meet the Scandlearn crew
We’ve torn-up the rulebook on online aviation training and written our own. At Scandlearn, we take a narrative-first approach—bringing training to life through a cast of fully developed characters, each with their own quirks, chemistry, and backstories.
Meet the crew driving the story forward with personality and purpose:
Carl is a warm-hearted and cheerful captain with decades of experience and a story for every situation. Known for his calm presence and fatherly advice, he’s the crew’s trusted voice of reason—always ready to share a laugh, a lesson, or a long-winded tale from his flying days.
Ellen is a sharp, composed co-pilot with a tough exterior and a deeply loyal core. Highly capable and quietly witty, she leads without trying to and rarely lets her guard down—except around those who earn her trust. Don’t let her calm tone fool you—she sees everything.
Solbritt is a seasoned senior cabin attendant who runs a tight ship with precision and pride. Known for her no-nonsense attitude and unwavering standards, she’s both respected and feared—especially by those who test the rulebook. Off-duty, she’s a completely different story.
Viktor is the charming class clown of the crew—tall, athletic, and always ready with a joke or prank. Beneath the playful exterior lies a genuinely helpful and kind soul who just wants to be liked. He's serious about looking good, but not always about being on time.
Julia is a bubbly, well-meaning cabin attendant with a heart of gold and a tendency to drop things—literally. Driven by a desire to prove herself (and maybe impress a certain someone), she brings warmth, effort, and a dose of chaos to every flight.
