Assistant to Head of Training

This role offers variety in day-to-day tasks and the chance to contribute to innovative and compliant online training initiatives in the aviation industry.
What you’ll do
- Administrative support: Help the Head of Training by organizing scripts, keeping track of projects, and managing deadlines.
- Schedule & coordination: Arrange meetings, maintain calendars, and ensure follow-ups are scheduled and completed.
- Communication assistance: Respond to emails on behalf of the Head of Training, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Project management: Provide production notes to the design team, comment on assets and projects, and monitor deliverables for accuracy and quality.
- Client onboarding: Eventually take charge of onboarding new clients, ensuring a smooth and professional introduction to the training offerings of Scandlearn.
- CBTA structure support: Assist in setting up Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) frameworks, ensuring adherence to aviation industry standards.
- Attention to detail: Ensure all project details are accurate and thoroughly documented, from meeting notes to production schedules.
What you’ll bring to Scandlearn
- Aviation interest: Basic knowledge of the aviation industry and motivation to learn, understand and apply regulations and standards.
- IT proficiency: Experience with modern tools and apps, ensuring efficient collaboration in a remote environment.
- Sharp organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
- Quick learner: Responsive, adaptable, and eager to pick up new processes and systems quickly.
- Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Team player: Collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude to anticipate needs and solve problems.
Requirements
- Basic aviation knowledge.
- Familiarity with modern apps and tools for project management and communication.
- Availability to work remotely with a stable internet connection.
- Responsive, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus skills
- Experience with CBTA frameworks or eLearning projects.
- Background in instructional design or training coordination.

This position is based on a consulting / contractor agreement. In order to be eligible for this position, you must either:
- Have your own company, or
- Be willing to set up your own company, or
- Use a payroll management company.
