Rising air travel imposes the need for improved safety and security measures. That is why it’s pivotal that all airport staff including the duty officers, cleaning services, shop and restaurant personnel, etc., understand the impact of their actions on overall airport safety. Strict demands are placed on procedures for domestic and international air traffic, and individual laws, regulations, and procedures vary from one airport to another. Therefore, any person with access to restricted areas must undergo regular security training.
Our GSAT course covers all critical aspects of airport security including threats to aviation, restricted zone protection, prohibited articles, and many others, in about an hour. It meets all the requirements in accordance with EASA, ICAO, ICAO Annex 17 to the Chicago Chicago Convention, EC regulations and ECAC recommendations, and provides a solid foundation for the ground personnel who have access to restricted zones.
