This training promotes critical steps during a pandemic for people to follow. It has been created to protect everyone’s health in line with the World Health Organization (WHO) and IATA guidance. You and your team will learn how the virus is spread, what symptoms to look for, how to prevent transmission and what to do and what restrictions to follow if someone gets sick.
It will also give guidance in the importance of different, procedures, routines, recommendations and etiquette how to handle sick crew members, passengers and waste disposal, both on the ground but also during flight. We will highlight the importance of how to handle the face mask, how to put on, use, take off, and dispose of a mask. How to handle surfaces such as seats, headrests, table tops, handsets, windows, window shades, video monitors, overhead compartments and other materials and zones such as lavatories. This will also help the cabin crew how to disembark a sick person from the aircraft. If you're put in quarantine with children and teenager we also send advice on what to do to keep calm and sanity.
